The screen displays the following error: 0003-0528-0003-0004.
This error code is triggered by the following logic: if the Z axis has already risen far enough but the homing sensor is still not triggered, this error code is output.
How the homing sensor is triggered: the nozzle makes contact with the heated bed.
Therefore, the cause generally falls into two categories:
The Z axis movement is obstructed and does not rise far enough, so the heated bed fails to contact the nozzle.
The homing sensor is not working properly.
When this error occurs, troubleshoot according to the current position of the heated bed.
This typically presents as the heated bed being completely unable to rise, accompanied by noticeable abnormal noise. The most common cause is that the heated bed shipping screws have not been removed.
Solution: Use an H2.0 hex key to remove the heated bed shipping screws. If the screws have already been removed, please check for movement interference.
If a screw spins freely without coming out, refer to Heated Bed Screw Spinning and Cannot Be Removed.
Do you also hear abnormal noise? Yes | No
(1) With the machine powered off, pull the timing belt at the bottom of the machine clockwise to raise the heated bed, and check whether there is significant resistance when raising it manually.
(2) If there is, check whether the linear rod / lead screw has come out of place. Refer to the Lead Screw / Linear Rod Misalignment Recovery Tutorial to restore it.
(1) If there is no abnormal noise and the error occurs infrequently with no particular pattern, it may be a firmware bug. We recommend updating the firmware to the latest version.
(2) If there is no abnormal noise but the error occurs frequently, we recommend exporting the log immediately and contacting technical support.
Identify which toolhead the machine was using when the error occurred, heat the nozzle to 200°C, and clean the nozzle with a wire brush. If the issue persists, proceed with the following troubleshooting steps.
For the homing sensor to work properly, a certain gap must be left between the hotend and the bottom of the extruder. Reference standard: 0.1-0.4 mm.
A common sheet of A4 printer paper (approximately 0.1 mm thick) should fit into the gap.
The same sheet of A4 paper, folded in half twice (approximately 0.4 mm thick), should not fit into the gap.
Determine whether the gap is too large or too small, then tighten or loosen the hotend screws accordingly. If the issue persists, proceed with the following troubleshooting steps.
The homing sensor is relatively sensitive to vibration. In this step, try removing or adding a vibration source and then home the axes manually.
Determine the specific cause based on whether the error disappears after removing a vibration source, or appears after adding one.
