Model: Snapmaker Orca
¶ Issue Description
- Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 5000: Connection refused [Error 7]
- Snapmaker Orca is unable to connect to Wi-Fi.
¶ Possible Causes
- Luban is not running or not connected to the machine via Wi-Fi
- Port 5000 is occupied by Airplay Receiver
¶ Solutions
¶ 1. Make sure Luban is luanched and properly connected to the Snapmaker device over Wi-Fi
Here’s a guideline for setting up the Snapmaker Orca. Please make sure to follow the steps carefully.
¶ 2. For Mac users, please disable the Airplay Receiver.
Disable the Airplay Receiver as shown in the image below, then restart Luban to establish the connection.
¶ 3. Update Luban to version 4.15 or above.
In Luban version 4.15 and later, go to Settings > Port Settings, and change the port to 5008.
