3D printers can work with a variety of materials, each with its own optimal settings. In Luban, we provide basic recommended parameters for some commonly used materials. However, you can also make adjustments to them based on your own needs, or add more material profiles into Luban.
Do either of the following in order to enter to Material Settings Interface:
Based on your needs, locate the material type and the color that you want to apply the adjusted material settings. Select a Parameter Display mode. Then locate the parameter and adjust its value in the corresponding right side box.
On the Parameter Display drop-downlist, you can select between Basic and All. When All is selected, all parameters related to the material on left side will be displayed. When Basic is selected, only basic parameters will be displayed.
On the right side of the material, hover the mouse on , you can choose to copy the current material profile or export it. For newly-added material profile, you can Rename, Copy, Export or Delete it.
For most parameters, Luban provide detailed descriptions and usage on the rightmost part. In addtion, you can also refer to - Parameters in Material Settings Explained.
