Model: Snapmaker 2.0
Module: Dual Extruder
Common Issue Descriptions:
- Unable to level the dual extruder head; auto leveling fails midway (result 7: abnormal hardware detected).
- I keep receiving the error: "Hardware Abnormal Detected - Result 7".
- When attempting automatic bed leveling on my Snapmaker 2 A350, I encounter an error with the message: "Hardware Abnormal Detected, Result 7".
¶ Symptoms
- Unable to complete automatic bed leveling
- Encountering an error alert: Hardware Abnormal Detected - Result 7
¶ Possible Causes
- The Quick Swap Kit has been installed, but the corresponding option is not selected on the touchscreen.
- Hardware issue with the Dual Extruder, for example, the right nozzle not lifting.
¶ Troubleshooting Steps
¶ 1. On the touchscreen, navigate to Settings, then select Quick Swap Install Status:

Ensure that the correct setting is selected.
- If the Quick Swap Kit is installed, a green icon indicating the Quick Swap Kit should appear on the main page of the touchscreen.
- If the Quick Swap Kit is not installed, the green icon will not appear on the main page.
¶ 2. Refer to the troubleshooting guide below to check for hardware issues with the Dual Extruder:
Dual Extrusion Module extruder R failed to home/cannot lift
- Verify if the lead screw is correctly positioned;
- Check if the lifting motor is functioning properly.
