¶ Issue Description
- 40w laser is not being recognized by snapmaker 2.0
¶ Possible Causes

The 40W boosted toolhead cable may be connected incorrectly.

The firmware might not have been successfully updated to the latest version.
¶ Troubleshooting Steps
¶ 1. Check the cable connections
The Power-boosted Toolhead Cable for the 40W laser module has one input and two output ends. On the controller side, it should be connected to both the Toolhead port and the Addon1 port. Please make sure both ends are connected correctly according to the labels printed on the cable.
¶ 2. Update the firmware
With the 40W laser module connected, please update the machine firmware again using a USB drive to ensure it’s the latest version.
