¶ Before You Start
Make sure that power switch is OFF.
¶ Tools and Accessories Required
- Quick Swap Toolhead Plate (Adjustable Version) ×1
- H2.0 Hex Key ×1
- H2.5 Hex Key ×1
- M4 × 12 Screw ×2
¶ Procedures
¶ Step 1 Slide the quick swap toolhead plate (adjustable version) into the bracket.
"Quick swap toolhead plate (adjustable version)" will be refered as "the plate" hereinafter.
¶ Step 2 Assess whether the plate and the bracket are in the proper tightness.
The plate and bracket are in the proper tightness when meeting the following 3 conditions at the same time:
1.The plate can slide into the bracket smoothly;
2.While tightening the cam handle, you can feel slight frictional force;
3.The plate cannot slide left or right when the cam handle is fully tightened.
¶ Step 3 If the plate and the bracket are in the proper tightness, skip Step 3. Otherwise, adjust the height of the plate according to the instructions below to reach the proper tightness.
The plate is too high when any of the following occurs:
-The plate cannot slide into the bracket.
-The cam handle cannot tighten.
- Loosen the cam handle of the bracket. Slide the plate out.
- Loosen adjusting screws on the adjustable slider. Slowly move the adjustable slider down so that the scale is aligned with a negative value on the right scale (e.g., -0.2). Then tighten adjusting screws.
3. Slide the plate into the bracket, assess the tightness again. If necessary, repeat the above two steps, until reaching the proper tightness.
The plate is too low when the following occurs:
The plate can still slide left or right when the cam handle is tightened.
- Loosen the cam handle of the bracket. Slide the plate out.
- Loosen adjusting screws on the adjustable slider. Slowly move the adjustable slider up so that the scale is aligned with a positive value on the left scale (e.g., 0.2). Then tighten adjusting screws.
3. Slide the plate into the bracket, assess the tightness again. If necessary, repeat the above two steps, until reaching the proper tightness.
¶ Step 4 Slide the plate out. Then attach it to the toolhead.
