If you know the exact thickness of the material, you can choose the Input Material Thickness mode to adjust the laser height and directly enter the value. With this known thickness, the machine will then automatically adjust the Z height of the Laser module (otherwise called the laser height) to best focus the laser beam on the material surface to achieve fine engraving or cutting results.
Input Material Thickness and Automatic Thickness Measurement both aim to obtain the material thickness for the machine to automatically adjust the laser height and only differ in how to obtain the thickness value.
