Most filaments absorb moisture from the air, especially PVA, TPU, and PA. The damp filament is likely to degrade the printing quality or clog the nozzle.

You can tell whether or not the filament is damp by checking the following descriptions. If you get at least one hit, the filament in question is likely damp already.
