¶ Before You Start
Turn off the power, then detach the Laser Module from the machine.
¶ Tools Required
- H1.5 screwdriver
- H2.0 screwdriver
¶ Procedures
- Use the H1.5 screwdriver to remove the screws at the four corners on the bottom panel of the 10W Laser Module. Then, carefully remove the bottom panel.
To avoid ripping the cables that connect the red laser emitter, gently remove the bottom panel.

Use an H2.0 screwdriver to remove the screws at the four corners on the bottom of the air concentrator hood. Then, remove the air concentrator hood.

Use your hand to unscrew the old laser lens protector and replace it with a spare one. After you finish the replacement, assemble the 10W Laser Module to its original state.
To avoid staining the transparent part of the laser lens protector, do not touch it with your hands during replacement.
¶ Tools Required
- H1.5 screwdriver
- Cotton swabs
- Ethyl alcohol
The purity of the ethyl alcohol should be at least 75%. The 99% ethyl alcohol works best.
¶ Procedures
- Loosen and remove the tuyere.
- Use the H1.5 screwdriver to detach the bottom cover.
- Use your hand to unscrew the original laser lens protector.
You can also use a tool (e.g. a wrench) to unscrew the laser lens protector.
- (Recommended) Moisten a cotton swab with ethyl alcohol. Wipe the surface of the laser lens from center to margin clockwise until there is no dust, grease, or water.
The cotton swab is a single-use tool. If there is still dust or grease remaining on the laser lens after you wipe it once, take a new cotton swab and repeat to clean it again.
- Install the spare laser lens protector.
To avoid staining the transparent part of the laser lens protector, do not touch it with your hands during replacement.
- Attach the bottom cover to the laser module.
- Tighten the tuyere.
