¶ When & Why
- At least once every week.
- The air assist pump is disabled under the laser engraving machining, and debris may accumulate at the laser aperture. Without cleaning, the accumulated debris may result in a decrease in laser engraving capability. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the bottom cover regularly.
¶ Before You Start
Power off the machine. It is recommended to detach the laser module from the machine.
¶ Tools Required
- Dust-free cloth
- Ethyl alcohol
The purity of the ethyl alcohol should be at least 75%. The 99% ethyl alcohol works best.
Do not use organic solvents to avoid damaging the product.
¶ Procedures
- Dip a suitable amount of alcohol onto the dust-free cloth.
- Place the laser module vertically and wipe the bottom cover of the laser module (pay special attention to wiping the laser aperture) until its surface is free from dust. Allow the alcohol to completely evaporate.
