Following creators is one of the easiest ways to build connections on Snapmaker Space. For creators, every follower is encouragement to keep making and sharing. For everyone else, following is a simple way to support work you enjoy while keeping up with future creations.
¶ Follow Creators
¶ How to Follow a Creator
Found a model you love? Follow its creator so you never miss their future uploads. There are two ways to do it:
¶ Option 1: From a Model Page
Click the + Follow button next to the creator's name on the right side of the model page.
Once you've followed someone, the button changes to Following. Click it again to unfollow.
¶ Option 2: From a Creator Profile
Open the creator's profile, then click the + FOLLOW button below their avatar.
Once you've followed someone, the button changes to UNFOLLOW. Click it again to unfollow.

Looking for more inspiring creators? Here are a few places to start.
¶ Explore Popular Models
Browse popular and featured models on the 3D Models and Contests pages. When you find work you like, take a look at the creator's profile and consider following them.
¶ Join the Conversation
Creators who actively answer questions, share tips, and participate in discussions are often great people to learn from and connect with.
¶ Discover Through Your Network
Browse the Following lists of creators you already follow. It's a great way to find more people with similar interests.
¶ Participate in Community Events
Join official contests and community activities to meet talented creators and expand your network.
¶ Manage Your Connections
Click your avatar in the upper-right corner and select Profile.
From the left navigation menu, you can access:
- Following — creators you're following
- Followers — people who follow you
Click any user to visit their profile, explore their work, or manage your follow status.
By visiting other users’ profiles, you can explore their Following and Followers lists to discover more creators worth following.
¶ Tips for Creators
If you're sharing your own work on the Snapmaker Space, followers represent more than just numbers — they're people who appreciate your creations and look forward to what you'll make next. Here are a few ways to grow your audience.
¶ Complete Your Profile
Upload a clear profile photo and write a short bio that reflects your interests or expertise — for example, Designer specializing in architectural and structural models. A complete profile helps others quickly understand what you create.
¶ Keep Publishing and Improving
Stay active by releasing new models or updating existing ones with better photos, print profiles, assembly instructions, or other useful information.
¶ Respond to Comments
Answering questions and engaging with feedback helps build trust, improves your models, and encourages people to follow your work.
¶ Be an Active Community Member
Following is a two-way connection. Follow creators whose work inspires you, join discussions, and participate in official events to build relationships and discover new ideas.
