If you use another printer, you can download the original model file and slice it yourself using compatible slicing software.
Snapmaker Space supports printing across Web, Snapmaker Orca, and Snapmaker App. You can choose and print models from any platform:
Web: Start slicing directly in Snapmaker Orca, or download the 3MF or source model files and import them into your preferred slicer.
Snapmaker Orca & App: Send the model directly to your printer with one-click printing.
A Print Profile is a pre-configured slicing project that contains printing settings tested by a creator or community user. It may include settings such as supports, model orientation, layer height, and filament type.
Using a Print Profile allows you to print without configuring these settings yourself.
If you have specific slicing preferences, or if your printer model or configuration does not match the Print Profile, you can download the model and slice it yourself.
Yes. The slicing software will generate G-code based on the filament you select.
However, some functional parts require specific materials. For example, tires need to be printed with TPU to provide sufficient elasticity.
We recommend checking the creator's description and material requirements before using a different filament. Using a different material may affect print quality or the performance of the final part.
Print Profiles provided by Snapmaker Space Founding Creators and official Snapmaker profiles are primarily optimized for the Snapmaker U1.
For other Print Profiles, please check the target printer listed on the model details page.
You can find the upload requirements and instructions during the model upload process. Please follow the guidance shown on the upload page when submitting your model.
Models are typically reviewed within 1–3 business days after submission. Once approved, they will be published on the platform.
You can edit a published model. However, any updated content must go through the review process again after resubmission.

You can use a Print Profile directly for slicing and printing without configuring all these settings yourself.
A single 3D model can have multiple Print Profiles, each tailored to different printing needs, such as different filament preferences, print quality, or print speed.
In addition to the original creator, community users can also contribute Print Profiles to a model, giving other users more options for printing the same model.
No. Uploading a Print Profile is not required.
However, models with Print Profiles generally provide a smoother user experience because users can download and print them more easily. They may also attract more downloads, receive higher print ratings, and have a better chance of being recommended.
Yes. Creators can add multiple Print Profiles to models they have uploaded. Community users can also upload new Print Profiles for any model after verifying the print, making them available to other community members.
