¶ Possible Causes
- The linear rails are not sufficiently lubricated.
- The sliders on the linear rails are not properly aligned with the correct installation holes.
- The noise might be coming from the motor or another component.
¶ Solutions:
- Please power off the machine or disable the motors in the screen settings, then manually move the noisy X linear rail or Y linear rail to check if the noise persists.
- 1.1 If you still hear noise when manually moving the XY linear rails, please refer to the following article to lubricate the linear rails:
- 1.2 If lubricating the linear rails does not resolve the noise issue, please check if the sliders are properly installed and if they are catching above the X/Y linear rails.
