While the extruder is traveling across an open space to get to the new location, filaments may ooze out of the nozzle and small strings of filament are left behind on the 3D printed model, which is known as stringing.
The printing parameters are improper.
Filaments are damp.
Retraction is disabled or the retraction settings are improper.
Lower the printing temperature, but never reduce the temperature below the manufacturer’s minimum specifications.
Increase the travel speed.
Keep the filaments moisture-free (refer to Filament_Library).
Enable retraction in slicing applications(However, to avoid clogging, do not set a retraction length exceeding 2mm.). The filament will be pulled back while the extruder is traveling across an open space.
