¶ Procedures
- Remove the top panel.
- Lift the printer away from the packaging bag.
At least two people are required to lift the machine.
- Remove the protections near the back panel.
- Remove the zip ties on both sides of the Y axes.
- Remove the locking clips.
Do not pull the timing belt or flip the locking clips violently.
- Move the X axis to the back panel.
- Remove the stickers on the front doors, and then open the front doors.
Supposed that there is any adhesive residue left, you may refer to either of the following methods to remove it.
① Use silicone remover to loosen the adhesive residue, then use eraser to erase the residue.
② Apply some rubbing alcohol onto a soft cloth or cotton swab. Gently rub to loosen the adhesive residue, then use a clean cloth to remove the residues.
Note that acetone may cause plastic to become cloudy, dull, or discolored. Therefore, please do not use acetone to remove the adhesive residue, which may potentially damage your front doors.
- Remove the protection.
- Remove the three zip ties on the X axis.
- Remove the locking clips.
Do not pull the timing belt or flip the locking clips violently.
- Take out the accessory box.
- Remove the protections.
