While the standard hotend is suitable for most use cases, the new all-metal hotends aim to reduce clogging risks in scenarios like silk PLA and high-speed PLA printing.
When printing with Silk PLA with all types of official hot ends, we recommend using a printing speed of no more than 100mm/s. The nozzle temperature should be set at 220℃ or higher to minimize the risk of clogging and achieve a better silk-like texture on the printed surface.
Please note that the Interference Fit assembled hot end does not support individual nozzle swapping, while the Threaded Connection assembled hot ends support individual nozzle swapping.
