PVA material is a water-soluble material, therefore it absorbs water. When PVA material is exposed to humid environments, it gradually absorbs moisture, becoming soft and bendable,like TPU. However, if PVA material absorbs too much water, its performance may be affected. Over-absorption of water may cause PVA material to become viscous, difficult to print, or produce bubbles and defects during printing.
Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the dryness level of PVA material before use(For example, after unpacking, put it into a filament drying box and keep it dry.) So in the case, the water absorption of the TPU affects the printing performance (please observe whether the PVA is as soft as the TPU to judge, or there is a bubble sound during the printing process). At this time, you need to complete the drying of the PVA in a dry environment and then print.
