Error 515-10 or 515-6 appears on the machine screen.
Loose heated bed wire interface or broken heated bed wire leads to the open circuit of temperature-measuring resistance cable.
- H2.0 screwdriver
- Multimeter
Turn off the machine's power.
Step 1
Check whether the heated bed line air docking port is connected properly. If there is no problem, proceed to the next step.
Step 2
Check whether the controller heated bed interface is connected properly. If there is no problem, proceed to the next step.
Step 3 If you have a multimeter that can measure resistance, try this step.
- Remove the heated bed cable connection from the integrated controller, then measure the resistance values around 1-2, 1-3, 5-6, and 4-6 according to the figure below, and compare the actual measured resistance values with the picture resistance values.
- If the actual measured resistance value has a large deviation, please refer to the figure below to remove the cable, and then re-measure the resistance value of the cable at the arrow position in the figure and compare the values.
- If the value is normal, it means that there is a problem with the extension cable of the heated bed, and contact support to replace the extension cable of the heated bed; if the value is abnormal, please refer to step 4.
Step 4 If you don't have a multimeter.
- Remove the bolts at the heated bed cable connection.
- Check whether the heated bed cable solder joint on the back of the heated bed board is detached. If it is detached, please try to repair it.
- Please check whether the resistance values of 5-6 and 7~6 are both 75~90K. If so, then the heated bed is OK. It's most likely a cable issue.
If the problem is not resolved, please contact Support for further investigation and analysis.
