¶ Problem description
- During CNC engraving or cutting, the screen displays an error of 15-2 or 15-3.
- When the machine is turned on, the screen displays an error of 15-2 or 15-3.
¶ Possible reasons
Case 1: The feed parameters of CNC engraving and cutting are set too large, exceeding the current limit of the CNC module motor
Case 2: CNC module circuit board failure

- H2.5 screwdriver
- H1.5 screwdriver
- H2.0 screwdriver
¶ Operation process
Step 1
After a 15-2 or 15-3 error occurs, turn off the machine power and then restart the machine.
Step 2
Observe whether the screen repeats errors 15-2 or 15-3; if it repeats, it indicates a circuit board failure in the CNC module, please refer to step 3; if it does not appear, please refer to step 4.
Step 3: Disassemble the CNC module for inspection.
- Machine power off, remove the CNC module.
- Remove four bolts with an H2.5 screwdriver.
- Use an H1.5 screwdriver to remove the top cover four bolts.
- Use an H2.0 screwdriver to remove the 2 bolts on the back.
- Gently pull the circuit board out a little.
- Check if the R71 position current detector resistor is broken. If it is broken, contact Support to replace the circuit board.
Step 4
Reduce feed depth or work speed when generating CNC files.
