Camera Capture is available only when the machine is connecting with Luban via Wi-Fi and takes effect only when you start the job on Luban.
Camera Capture is a Luban feature particularly designed for laser engraving and cutting. It facilitates the process of determining the machining area on the prepared material and saves the trouble of setting the work origin for you. The object will be engraved or cut exactly where it is previewed in the captured background.
During the process, the machine will take a photo of the whole work area (including the platform and the fixed material) and use it as the background for you to position the engraving or cutting pattern or design (named Object in Luban).
To use camera capture on Luban:
If the captured image is twisted out of shape, click Calibrate and follow Luban’s instructions to calibrate the camera manually.
Camera Capture must be used in combination with Automatic Thickness Measurement or Input Mateiral Thickness on Luban. For the complete workflow, see Workflow #1 on this page.
