Central Axis Calibration helps confirm the laser height during machining and thus achieves the best engraving and cutting results.
If you re-install the laser module or the Rotary Module, or you find the laser is not best focused on the material surface during machining, we suggest that you do the Central Axis Calibration again.
¶ Before You Start
- Prepare a cylinder material and measure its diameter.
- Prepare the provided calibration card or a piece of A4 paper.
You can directly use the provided cylindrical laser material to complete the calibration. Its diameter is 35 mm.
If the provided calibration card has been lost, a piece of A4 paper can be used as a substitute.
¶ Procedures
If the laser module into the machine, turn off the machine or press the emergency stop button immediately.
- On the Touchscreen, tap Calibration > Central Axis Calibration > Start.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the calibration.
