In constant power mode, the laser output remains the same power level during processing or operation.
Constant Power Mode is ideal for laser processing tasks that require consistent output, particularly when working with uniform materials, high-speed operations, simple geometries, large engraving areas, and cutting through even-thickness materials. It ensures uniformity in depth, intensity, and edge quality, making it essential for applications where stability and precision are key.
It is recommended to be turned on when cutting. And it is recommended to turn off when picture engraving.
Under Toolpath Settings, tick the checkbox next to the Constant Power Mode.
When Constant Power Mode is disabled, Luban will use Trapizoid mode by default, in which the laser power output is a trapezoidal curve. During motion, the machine will dynamically adjusts the laser output power based on the speed of the laser head movement to achieve better and smoother laser engraving results.
