The machine can not detect the 3D Printing Module and the Touchscreen displays as shown in the picture below.
Check if the Toolhead Cable is broken.
1.1 Turn off the machine. Replace the current Toolhead Cable with one of the interchangeable cables (see picture below).
1.2 Turn on the machine and see if the 3D Printing Module is detected.
If yes, the Toolhead Cable is faulty.
If not, turn off the machine and check whether the other two toolheads, 1.6W Laser Module and CNC Module can be detected.
a. If the machine cannot detect the Printing Module but can detect the 1.6W Laser Module and CNC Module, then the Printing Module may be faulty.
b. If all three toolheads cannot be detected, there may be two situations. One or more of the Linear Modules is affecting the CAN communication or the toolhead port of the Controller is broken. Please proceed to step 2 and step 3.
Verify whether CAN communication is abnormal.
2.1 Turn off the machine and unplug all the cables (except for the ones for the Power Module and Touchscreen) from the Controller.
2.2 Connect printing module to the toolhead port and turn on the machine. See if the machine can detect the printing module and work properly.
Use addon-1 port to verify whether the toolhead port of the Controller is broken. Note: Turn off the machine before plugging or unplugging the cable, and make sure the cable is plugged in the correct direction.
3.1 Connect your machine to Luban via the serial port using a USB cable.
3.2 Then, enter these two commands separately. The M1029 E2 command is used to remap the Toolhead port to the Addon-1 port, and the M500 command is used to save the setting.
M1029 E2
M500
3.3 After the settings are saved, please turn off the machine, plug the tool head cable into the Addon-1 port, and see if three modules can work properly.
