¶ Procedures
This guide takes 3D printing of 350 models as a demonstration, all steps demonstrated apply to 250 models.
- If you have installed the Quick Swap Kit, power off the machine, disconnect the heated bed cable, and then slide the support platform out of the bracket.
- Turn on the machine. Swipe left on the homepage of the touchscreen > select Controls > tap Jog Mode.
- For subsequent assembly, move the toolhead near the middle of the X axis, and move the support platform in alignment with where the screw holes on the base plate are.
- Switch off the power and unplug the DC power cable. Disconnect the touchscreen cable from the controller and remove the touchscreen.
If you already have the enclosure installed on your machine, unplug the DC power cable and the connecting cable of the Addon 3 port. Disconnect the touchscreen cable and remove the touchscreen. Detach the foot fixtures, and then remove the machine from the enclosure.
To continue detaching the toolhead and the support platform, select to read the corresponding content in accordance with whether the quick swap kit is installed or not.
- Disconnect the toolhead cable, loosen the handle of the toolhead bracket, and then slide the toolhead out of the bracket.
- Detach the toolhead bracket.
- Laterally place the machine, and then detach the platform bracket.
If the screws on the sliders are not aligning with the screw holes on the base plate, move the support platform to the proper position.
- Disconnect the toolhead cable, and then detach the toolhead.
- Laterally place the machine, and then detach the support platform.
If the screws on the sliders are not aligning with the screw holes on the base plate, move the support platform to the proper position.
If you already have the 3D printer installed on your machine, there is no need to detach the heated bed, just disconnect the heated bed cable.
