The Enclosure for the Snapmaker 2.0/Artisan 3-in-1 3D Printer has a built-in Exhaust Fan. However, when used with a 20W/40W Laser Module, the built-in Exhaust Fan is not strong enough to cast off all the smoke. Therefore, to improve user experience, we are launching a Boosted Exhaust Fan for you to upgrade the exhaust system.
Note:
The included Exhaust Fan in the package of Enclosure is sufficient for the use of the 10W Laser Module. If you desire better fume extraction, you can upgrade it.
The maximum airflow of the Boosted Exhaust Fan is 95 CFM.
Yes, the Boosted Exhaust Fan is effective in reducing build-up on the Laser Module's heat dissipation fan. However, regular cleaning by users remains necessary.
Here is a cleaning guide for the heat dissipation fan for your reference:

The max. airflow volume of the Snapmaker Air Purifier is 104 CFM. Therefore, if you are using the enclosure with an air purifier, you don't need to replace the enclosure fan with the upcoming boosted exhaust fan, whose airflow volume is around 95 CFM.
The power of the Exhaust Fan can't be adjusted via the touchscreen, but it can be adjusted by sending G-code commands in
Luban - Workspace - Console.
