40W Laser Module are members of the Snapmaker 2.0 series, Snapmaker Artisan series, and Snapmaker Ray series. They are compatible with 2.0 3D Printers, Artisan 3-in-1 3D Printer, Ray Laser Engraver and Cutter, and multiple modules including Rotary Module, CAN Hub, Emergency Stop Button, Enclosure for 2.0, and Air Purifier.
Please note that the 40W Laser Module can not work on Snapmaker A150. It has a net weight of 1.26kg. If the 40W Laser Module is used with the A150, it will cause serious vibration and negatively impact the quality of the laser work.

We recommend choosing the Snapmaker 2.0 machine with the 40W Laser Module. When you purchase the Snapmaker 2.0 machine, you will be provided with a Boosted Toolhead Cable and an Air Assist Pump Conversion Cable. These cables are essential for the proper functioning of the 20W and 40W Laser Module, as there may be compatibility issues without them.
However, Snapmaker Artisan & Ray machines don't need these extra cables. If you have mistakenly selected the wrong machine type when placing your order, you can contact support at info@snapmaker.com to make the needed changes.

No, the 40W Laser Modules do not include a built-in camera function like the 10W Laser Module. Instead, they utilize a Focus Lever for laser platform height calibration, which offers a simple and reliable workflow. Rest assured, you'll achieve incredible results and a smooth experience with these new laser modules.
