You do not need to buy the Quick Swap Toolhead Plate separately.
- Snapmaker 2.0: Using the 1064nm Infrared Laser Module does not require purchasing the Quick Swap Toolhead Plate, regardless of having a Quick Swap Kit.
- Artisan: One adjustable Quick Swap Toolhead Plate is included with the 1064nm Infrared Laser Module.
¶ Can the 1064nm Infrared Laser Module cut metal?
No, the 1064nm Infrared Laser Module cannot cut metal. It supports cutting 0.5mm black ABS plastic sheets and black acrylic.
